We all do it. Your partner is working late and there’s just two episodes left of 13 Reasons Why, who really wants to wait? They’ll never know will they?
But they do – they always do – thanks to Netflix’s way of sorting its suggestions and tracking what you watch.
So instead of snuggling down with a glass of wine and smashing through the emotional last episodes in your own sweet time, you’re left waiting (patiently, of course) for your friend or partner to catch up.
Whether you’re skipping ahead and don’t want people to know or you’ve spent way too much time watching comedy specials and it’s mucked up your algorithm there’s a way to fix it.
Head to the viewing list on your Netflix account, which you can find here (you’ll need to log in) and it’ll show you a list of what you’ve watched. You can hit the cross on the right to delete it from your viewing history forever…saving your marriage/relationship/friendship (delete as appropriate).
You can also click on the rating tab to see what you’ve liked or disliked using the new rating system. For some this may be more incriminating than viewing history.
The same thing applies, just hit the cross and it’s gone for good. It’s as easy as that.
